Things Are Looking Up
Welcome! What feels like a few years ago has been almost two decades since I first became fascinated with contemporary hanging mobiles. This journey began with a simple appreciation for how these delicate, floating sculptures can add interest to areas of a room that are commonly ignored.

For years, I jotted down ideas and sketched designs whenever inspiration struck. I found myself constantly thinking about new ways to combine shapes, themes, and materials to create something unique. It wasn’t long before I decided to turn these sketches into reality. Upstairs is where I could experiment with different materials and techniques. This hands-on approach allowed me to learn through trial and error, refining my skills.

Combining shape, motion, and interesting themes is what makes each piece special. I believe that mobiles are an underrated form of decor that can add a touch of uniqueness to any room. You can hang a mobile over a chair or credenza, in a corner, or anywhere people won't walk into it.

They can transform a space, creating a sense of movement and life that static decorations simply can’t achieve. Whether it’s a nursery, a living room, or an office, a well-placed mobile can bring a sense of calm and wonder to the environment.

Upstairs Workshop Co. is just starting to sprout, and I’m excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. It’s a platform where I can share my ideas with others and offer unique, handcrafted pieces that can enhance any space. Each mobile is carefully designed and crafted with attention to detail, ensuring that it not only looks beautiful but also moves peacefully.

One of the things I love most about this work is the opportunity to connect with others who share my appreciation for mobiles. If you have any ideas or customized items you’d like to see available, please let me know. I’m always open to new ideas and enjoy the challenge of creating something that perfectly fits your vision. Whether it’s a specific color scheme, a particular theme, or a unique combination of shapes, I’m here to bring your ideas to life.
